2014 Examination schedule and application
Dates and an online exam application will be posted as soon as they are available for next year's In-Service Exam, which will be administered by U.S. postdoctoral periodontal programs.
|January 24, 2014||An exam application and a fees must be submitted to the AAP Office for each student taking the exam.|
|March 3-14, 2014||Examination administered by programs. Please check with your postdoctoral program director to determine the exact day and time that the exam will be administered at your institution.|
|Fees||The In-Service Examination is an AAP member benefit with non-member premium pricing. The 2014 In-Service Examination Student Member rate is $115. The 2014 In-Service Examination Non-member rate is $215. Residents may become Student Members by completing the membership application. We suggest they become Student Members by January 1, 2014, so their membership can be processed prior to their examination application, which is due no later than January 24, 2014.|
All program information forms and applications must be submitted by January 24, 2014.
All Program Directors must complete the Program Form.
All Students must complete the Application.
In-Service Examination Refund Policy
For a full refund, the Academy must receive a letter by January 31, 2014, from the student’s postdoctoral director on school letterhead verifying that the student is unable to take the In-Service Exam.
- From January 31 - February 7, 2014, a student or school may receive a 50% refund. The Academy must receive a letter by February 7, 2014, from the student's postdoctoral director on school letterhead verifying that the student is unable to take the In-Service Exam.
- After February 7, 2014, no refunds will be provided.
