Finley Grant Awarded to Ohio State University

The American Academy of Periodontology Foundation announced that it has awarded funding for a Charles W. Finley Visiting Scholar program to Ohio State University. The award will help support a series of presentations by Dr. Panos Papapanou of Columbia University during Fall 2011. A lecture on periodontal pathobiology will be made to the entire College of Dentistry and local periodontal community.
AAP Foundation Finley grants of $1,500 are awarded to accredited U.S. periodontal programs to offset honoraria, travel, promotion, and seminars by speakers in periodontology. The grants must be matched by funds from each department or institution.
