Information about the many ways to support periodontics through donations to the AAP Foundation.

Making a gift to the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation is an easy way to support the future of your specialty. All donations to the AAP Foundation are tax-deductible in accordance with the law.

The Gerald M. Bowers Endowment Fund for the ABP was created to ensure the financial stability and growth of the specialty's certifying board, and implementation of appropriate new technologies supporting rigorous testing standards.

Grateful Colleague Program

The next time you provide care as a professional courtesy and your colleague asks how to thank you, suggest a gift to the AAP Foundation using the colleague's portion of the Grateful Colleague form. This may also be done in your honor by friends or regular patients who believe in the value of periodontal education. Donations go to Foundation programs that support the development of outstanding periodontal educators.
