Dr. Kenneth A. Krebs Joins AAP Foundation Board

Dr. Krebs, DMD, of Wilmette, was named to the AAPF Board of Directors at the Board's November meeting in Orlando.

CHICAGO, December 1, 2004 – Kenneth A. Krebs, DMD, of Wilmette, was named to the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation at the Board's meeting in Orlando last month.

Dr. Krebs received his DMD from the University of Louisville College of Dentistry and his Clinical Certificate in Periodontics from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. He maintains a private practice in Chicago.

Dr. Krebs has served in numerous capacities with the American Academy of Periodontology, where he is now president-elect. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois Society of Periodontics, and past president and current executive director of the Midwest Society of Periodontology. In addition, Dr. Krebs currently serves on the Wilmette Village Board of Health.

The American Academy of Periodontology Foundation is dedicated to improving the periodontal and general health of the public by increasing public and professional awareness of periodontal diseases; stimulating and supporting clinical research and the generation of new knowledge; and enhancing educational programs and opportunities in periodontology. Periodontics is one of nine dental specialties recognized by the American Dental Association.
