How to Subscribe to the Journal of Periodontology

Information About a Journal subscription

In addition to printed copies of the Journal, all subscribers will receive online access to the following:

• Full-text JOP articles from January 1979 to the present
• Clinical Advances in Periodontics, AAP's online-only journal
• Annals of Periodontology, Volumes 1 through 8

It is not possible to purchase a JOP online or print subscription only, or to subscribe solely to CAP.

2013 subscriptions include all print issues and online access for the 2013 calendar year.

Back issues for the year of the subscription are automatically sent to subscribers whose orders are processed after the January issue has been mailed.

Back issues from previous years may be purchased according to availability. The per-issue cost is $20 for U.S. and Canada and $25 for other countries; shipping and handling is included in the price. To order a back issue, please contact Subscription Services by e-mailingorders@perio.org or calling 312/787-5518 (Monday to Friday, 8:45 a.m. – 4:45 p.m.Central Time).

Pay Per View: If you are not a current subscriber, JOP, CAP, and Annals articles can be viewed and downloaded on a pay-per-view (PPV) basis. Simply browse the content pages or use the Search tool to select the article of your choice. Clicking on the full-text link for the article produces an intermediate page containing a link to the PPV option. The system uses a "shopping cart" approach that allows the purchase of multiple articles in a single session. The cost per article is $20. You will be required to register in order to purchase PPV articles.

Claims Policy: Claims must be received within three months for domestic subscribers and within six months for international subscribers. Because the Journal of Periodontology is available online at joponline.org, one claim will be honored free of charge per subscription year to the same address. Back issues can be purchased (as available) for $20 domestic and $25 international. You can submit claim requests online.

Notification of an address change must be provided by subscriber within 60 days of the issue date in order to ensure product fulfillment. If the Journal staff is not notified within the allotted time, subscribers may purchase single issues by e-mailingorders@perio.org.

How to Subscribe

Prepayment by check, money order, or credit card (Visa or MasterCard) in U.S. dollars is required to order a subscription. Bank transfers are not accepted. Subscribe in one of the following ways:

• Individual subscribers may complete and print out the Subscription Order Form and mail it with check, money order or credit card information (Visa or Mastercard only—we do not accept American Express) to the address below.
• Institutional subscribers must provide shipping addresses for delivery of print issues and the full name and e-mail address of each client for online Journal access; reference numbers in place of names will not be accepted.
