Visa Information
International attendees who need a letter of invitation to apply for a visa may request one during online registration. To obtain an invitation for a spouse or guest's visa, email Virginia@perio.org with the following information about your guest: full name on passport; date of birth; passport number, expiration date, and issuing country; email address; and relationship to the attendee. Please be advised that a letter of invitation does not imply an obligation on the part of the AAP to provide financial assistance to the attendee or guest.
Call for Abstracts Closed
Abstract submission has now ended for Innovations in Periodontics, the Balint Orban Competition, and Research Forum Poster Sessions. For more information about the Orban and Research Forum competitions, please review Research Submissions Frequently Asked Questions or contact Stephanie Heffner (stephanie@perio.org or 312/573-3248). Competition finalists will be announced and their abstracts made available for online viewing in August.
Attendance Requirement
As stated in Chapter 1, Section 6 of the Academy Bylaws, member attendance requirements must be met unless a petition for extension of your respective time period has been filed with the Board of Trustees. If this is your year and you are not able to attend, please submit an Attendance Waiver Request no later than 60 days after the Annual Meeting.
