Abstract Submission Deadline
Abstract submission for the 2013 Balint Orban and Research Forum competitions is now open. All abstracts must be submitted via the online abstract submission site by 11:59 p.m. CT on April 15, 2013.
About the Balint Orban Competition
The Orban Competition is open to current students or recent graduates of U.S. or Canadian periodontics programs. Eight finalists will be selected (four for basic research and four for clinical research) to present their research to a panel of judges at the Annual Meeting. Finalists will receive complimentary meeting registration and airfare to present at the Annual Meeting.

About the Research Forum Poster Session and Competition
The Research Forum provides a platform for clinical and basic research to be presented by those in the field of periodontics. Submission is open to all researchers. Finalists and poster presenters will be selected in both basic and clinical research to present their posters to a panel of judges at the Annual Meeting.
Please note that Research Forum finalists and poster presenters do not receive complimentary meeting registration from the Academy. Participants will be charged the appropriate registration fee.
