Periodontal Coding Course & Dental Insurance Coding Workshops
Periodontal practices rely on accurate documentation and insurance coding to
ensure proper reimbursement. Understanding periodontal anatomy, such as
the periodontal ligament and alveolar bone, as well as clinical indicators
like periodontal pocket depth and clinical attachment loss helps determine
appropriate treatment and the correct CDT code or dental insurance code for
claims submission.
The American Academy of Periodontology (AAP) offers comprehensive workshops and resources designed to help periodontists and dental office staff improve their knowledge of periodontal coding, insurance claims, and reimbursement procedures.
